Mr. Edouard
Assistant Principal Edouard has been an educator in the NYCDOE for just over a decade and has been an assistant principal at Park East High School since 2021. Mr. Edouard holds an Ed.M in Progressive Leadership from Bank Street College of Education, a M.S. in Special Education 7-12 Generalist from Touro, and a B.A. in Secondary Education, Social Studies from Brooklyn College.
Mr. Edouard believes in the West African principle of Sankofa, which holds that one must look back to understand in order to move forward wisely. He is a social reconstructivist and believes that education is meant to equip students with the tools they need to make the world better in ways adults today can't conceive.
Currently, he is the primary supervisor of instruction at Park East and has taught AP African American Studies since its inception.
